Vegan Pudding

Hi everyone! Another dessert recipe from VegaNice Japan✨🌱 Pudding is one of the famous dessert in Japan. In this video, we used the local flavors of Japan like matcha, roasted sesame seeds and soy products. Just played around by putting some tapioca topping on it to add some twist! WHY NOT? 😊

Black Sesame Seeds Pudding

Ingredients:

Soy Milk( Any Vegan Milk of your choice) – 150ml

Agar-Agar powder- 1g

Black sesame seeds(Ground/powder) – 25g

Beet sugar/ Tensai- 15g

Kinako powder/Soy powder( Optional for topping)

Procedure:

  1. In a medium bowl, Mix everything. Microwave for about 30 seconds until completely dissolve.
  2. Pour in a glass and keep in the fridge for an hour or two until it sets.
  3. Sprinkle dome kinako powder on top.

Matcha and Soy Milk Pudding

Ingredients: Matcha pudding

Soy Milk- 70ml

Agaar agar- 0.3g

Matcha Powder- 1g

Procedure:

  1. In a small bowl, mix everything and microwave for about 20-30 seconds until the powder dissolve.
  2. Pour in a glass and keep in the fridge until it sets

Ingredients: Soy milk pudding

Soy Milk- 80ml

Agar agar- 0.8g

Beet sugar/ Tensai- 10g

Procedure:

  1. In a small bowl, mix everything and microwave for about 20-30 seconds until dissolve
  2. Pour over the match pudding and set in the fridge

Soy Milk Pudding with Tapioca topping

Ingredients: Caramel Sauce

Beet sugar/ Tensai- 25g

Water- 8ml

Warm water- 15ml ( for last part)

Procedure:

  1. In a non-stick pan, put the beet sugar and water. Do not mix or else the sugar will crystalize
  2. Simmer in low heat
  3. When the bubble appeared and the color changed into light brown, turn off the heat and add the warm water.
  4. Pour into a pudding glass and set aside at room temperature

Ingredients: Soy milk pudding

Soy milk- 150ml

Beet sugar- Tensai- 15g

Agar agar- 1g

Boiled Tapioca(Optional)

Procedure

  1. In a medium bowl, put everything and mix
  2. Microwave for about 20-30 seconds until dissolved
  3. Pour into the pudding glass with caramel sauce
  4. Keep in the fridge for an hour or two
  5. Enjoy!
