Hello again to our Vegan friends! And of course even non-vegan are very welcome too! 😊
Ever since this pandemic, going out on a date became very seldom to everyone. So why not make it special at home?✨🥰
I was craving for sushi these past few days. Here in Japan, I never saw Sushi restaurants that are vegan. The only choice I think is to make it at home.
Made simple and easy sushi this time. All of these are my favorites!
Yes! These are 100% vegan! For the red “Maguro” like sushi, I simply used red, large tomatoes. Sliced and chopped it a bit and marinated with some ponzu sauce, konbu and and little bit of soy sauce.
For “Tuna” mayo, I used boiled soy meat and vegan mayonnaise. If the ingredients are not available in your country, you can order from amazon✨😊 I prepared down below the ingredients that I used for this recipe just in case you’re reading this and you’re worrying that the ingredients might not be available in your nearest supermarkets!
Making this video reminds me of my childhood memories. My dad and I, together with my two siblings used to make sushi at home. Cooking at home is a special bond that we had as a family. I remembered using a sushi mold from Daiso(Dollar shop) where you just put the cooked rice in it and press a little bit with its cover and that’s it! how convenient it was back then 😅 Actually, I’m still pretty sure that those sushi molds are still available at daiso. I didn’t use that just because I want to experience making sushi with my bare hands. to enjoy the moment of trial and errors. I’m not a professional sushi chef but I did my best to make a real sushi this time 😊 A vegan sushi that I can be proud of! Its only the beginning I think? I will still make more sushi recipes that everyone will love and enjoy without the use of animal products. A CRUELTY-FREE SUSHI ✨
I hope you’ll love this guys! Enjoy making this with your friends and families!
Until next time! Have a VegaNice Sushi time! 🌱✨
