Hello!
This recipe is for beginners like us! It is our first time cook Azuki beans so let’s cook it slowly to avoid burning or over cooking😊
Ingredients:
- Azuki Beans-100g
- Beet sugar/ Tensai- 40g
- Water- All in all 700ml except for the first simmering
Instructions:
- Wash the beans with water
- In a small pan or pot, put the Azuki and cover with water and put in a stove
- Once it simmer, drain to remove the first water
- Put it back in a pan and add 700ml of water and cook in a low heat
- You need to taste the beans once in a while to check if it’s uncooked or already cooked.
- It is important to keep an eye on it and set a timer beside you when cooking to avoid some burning. Stir from time to time too.
Note* You can adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar according to your preference.
